Yea, quit bragging. I know a lot of you have already sent your kids back to school. My kids have two more weeks. Go ahead and feel sorry for me. I cannot wait for school to start. I am not one of those moms that will cry as I drop them off. Though I love the lazy days of summer (a.k.a. sleeping-in), they are usually accompanied by a lot of fighting, whining and "what are we going to do today?" I so desperately want to say "YOU ARE GOING TO SCHOOL TODAY." So with that being said, for my monthly stint on BlissfullyDomestic.com, I shared my strategy, or lack of it, for Back to School Basics. Please head over there and share some comment love.
ALSO don't forget to enter my 1st Giveaway to celebrate my 100th post!

Ha Ha I was just telling somebody yesterday that I think all those mom's who sigh and say longingly..."I hate when my kids have to go back to school" Are LIARS!! I mean we all love our kids but lets face it having them going back to school and getting a few hours of peace and quiet is heaven!
You make me laugh.
Sorry, I was one of those that cried when the kids went back to school. (No Cherie, I'm not lying)
Seriously.
I pitched a huge fit.
(for about 2 minutes, right before falling asleep as I crawled back in bed after they had hit the bus)
After six kids, I totally understand the celebration. I really didn't cry when I dropped my baby off. I know, he is not a baby anymore. I felt like a meanie though because of his sad little puppy eyes. But yeah, it's a catch 22. School means the house is ours. Summer means sleeping and NO HOMEWORK! Hang in there. You will make it. Off to see your link.
tears? yeah right - I'm out there singing "it's the most... wonderful time... of the year..." and hush your mouth, that song is NOT just for Christmas.
Perhaps your kids could come take care of my kids and everyone will be happy :)
Hi - found you over at From Chaos Comes Happiness :)
This cracks me up because so many other bloggers have said how they are going to miss having their kids home...and I'm thinking "are mine too young to go to school?" (they're are: I have a 3 year old and 1 year old twins, so I have a ways to go).
Heading over to your post now . . .and how about that MOVIE!!! I'm right there with you... BALI was BEAUTIFUL and top on my traveling list! (I kept telling my friend - I want go there! I want to go THERE!!!!)So glad you enjoyed it as much as I did!!!! :)
I'm so with you girl! While I too love sleeping in I am getting tired of the "I'm bored" or "What are we doing today?" It will be nice to be back in the routine again.
*I tagged you in a recent post of mine girl*
My daughter went back the 4th neener neener neener!
You are a woman after my own heart! My kids don't go back until Sept.8th!!! I live in stupid Canada where it seems summer vacation should apparently last until almost fricken Xmas! And yes, the highlight of my summer is sleeping in. Anyway, I need the rest because once I'm up it's an endless series of demands and clean-up jobs! You and I should run away together, to a land where small beings are forbidden.
